What Kind of Campground?

Published by encsteph at 12:15 am under Camp Edit This

So now that we have established our opinions about how to keep (I.E. what to sleep in) now let’s talk about where to camp. I don’t mean specific campgrounds but more like what type of campground.

Do you prefer barebones campgrounds like state parks that offer a somewhat flat piece of ground to pitch a tent or park a trailer and a semi-clean restroom facility with showers? These (in the northeast at least) run $15-$30 a night.

Or

Do you prefer a full blown privately owned campground that has electric, sewer and cable tv hookups with planned activities, a pool, a fishing hole and other amenities?

Or

Are you a real survivalist that packs everything on his/her back and sleeps in the middle of the woods with only what you can hump in?

So what do you say? Which is your preference? Do you enjoy all of them at different times for different reasons?

Till next time…

Eric
