My name is Eric and I will be your guide along this journey of fun and discovery!
I am an avid camper and have been my entire life.
I started camping just like most people do…my parents dragged me out and put me in a canvas tent that smelled really bad when I was just a wee ladd. Something magical happened that first trip despite the smell tent, mosquito bites, lousy weather and wet sleeping bag…I fell in love with the sights, sounds and smells of the outdoors!
30+ years later and I’m still doing it!
I go camping year round in many different styles. I will go camping with the Boy Scouts in tents in January, I will go camping with my family in a trailer and I will even go camping with a group of couples in rustic cabins.
Along our journey together I hope to share many stories, thoughts, ideas, tips and tricks and news about what camping is and how much fun it can be. I hope you enjoy the ride!
